FAQ
Q1. What is the most important thing when packaging this type of special cargo?
It's crucial to identify any remaining hazardous materials and thoroughly implement fire prevention measures. Especially for hazardous materials like spent catalysts, safety-related issues, such as preventing damage to packaging and ensuring worker safety, are paramount.
Q2. What are the criteria for assigning workers?
Experienced professionals are assigned, and only personnel who have completed relevant training are assigned. Preliminary inspections are conducted, including gas residue measurement using specialized equipment and explosion-proof measures before work.
Q3. What do I need to prepare in advance for the task?
A thorough work plan must be developed through preliminary site visits and consultations with the client, including identifying sufficient workspace, compatible equipment, and facilities. Furthermore, a standard work manual is developed based on internal case studies to ensure reproducibility and safety.

Ongoing Support Plan
This project is a regular, two-year cycle. After the first year, field records and improvements are systematically compiled and internally reported, and the findings are then incorporated into applicable standards for subsequent projects.
Through this process, we gradually improve efficiency and safety with each iteration, while also continuously securing client trust.
All About Our Story

Export packaging of waste catalysts from oil refineries
#Professionals #Specialized Equipment #Hazardous Materials #Skid Packaging #Refinery

Background
This project involved export packaging of spent catalysts, a special waste generated within refineries. Unlike basic logistics operations, the project itself would be difficult to complete without prior arrangements for on-site hazardous material management, equipment deployment planning, and personnel experience.
In particular, lack of worker experience increases the risk of work errors and safety accidents, making an early response strategy crucial.

Spent catalysts from refineries are collected in drums and packaged on skids for recycling and export. Experienced workers and dedicated equipment are employed for packaging. After inspection, they undergo container loading and export declaration procedures before being shipped overseas.

Challenge Faced
Due to the specialized nature of the work, which requires the processing of drums and spent catalysts using skid packaging, standard equipment is insufficient. Furthermore, experienced personnel are extremely limited, leading to repeated difficulties in securing equipment and personnel on-site.
This has resulted in schedule delays and increased safety risks.

Solution
LTS proactively addressed existing labor and equipment procurement challenges by deploying experienced professionals and specialized skid paving equipment optimized for the task.
As a result, not only did work efficiency improve, but the safety of field workers and inspection capabilities were also strengthened, resulting in zero issues during final inspection prior to customs clearance.
